Machaba Camp is a traditional style camp nestling in the game-rich Khwai area of the Okavango Delta in Botswana. With its tree-fringed views of the Khwai River, it is an escape like no other.

Set in the game rich Khwai Concession of Botswana’s Okavango Delta, Machaba Camp offers an eco luxury safari experience that blends 1950s charm with modern comfort. Overlooking the Khwai River and bordering the famed Moremi Game Reserve, this intimate camp is nestled under a canopy of riverine trees, perfectly positioned for both privacy and panoramic wildlife views.


Named after the Sycamore Fig Tree, the “tree of life” in Setswana, Machaba Camp captures the spirit of a true African safari. Its ten luxury tents, including two family units, feature en suite bathrooms, outdoor showers, and timeless furnishings. All tents are connected by sandy pathways that wind beneath ancient trees. The camp is family friendly, wheelchair accessible, and welcomes guests of all ages.
