Little Machaba Camp
Little Machaba is a traditional safari-style camp in the game-rich Khwai Concession, Okavango Delta in Botswana. It shares the same island as its big sister, Machaba.
Tucked away on the same island as Machaba Camp, Little Machaba offers a more intimate and exclusive safari experience in the heart of the game rich Khwai Concession, in the northeastern reaches of Botswana’s Okavango Delta.
This traditional safari style camp features just four spacious tents, each raised on private decks and connected by winding pathways shaded by large riverine trees. With sweeping views across open plains frequented by herds of elephant and leading down to the Khwai River, Little Machaba provides a serene and secluded setting ideal for couples, honeymooners, or anyone seeking a quieter retreat.
The camp includes two luxury family safari tents and two luxury twin safari tents, all designed with comfort and elegance in mind.
Guests at Little Machaba can enjoy a range of unforgettable experiences, including:
Guided walking safaris for a close up connection with the bush
Mokoro excursions through peaceful Delta waterways
Night drives to explore the hidden nocturnal world of the Okavango
Although it shares an island with Machaba Camp, Little Machaba is run entirely separately, offering a peaceful atmosphere and personalized service for a truly unique safari adventure.
