Linyanti Bushcamp
Escape to Chobe National Park on a Classic and Exclusive Adventure Safari
Nestled on the remote banks of the Linyanti Marsh, Linyanti Bush Camp offers a serene and exclusive base from which to explore one of Botswana’s most wildlife-rich regions. This intimate tented camp is set within a private concession, far from the crowds, where guests can enjoy a deeply personal safari experience surrounded by nature.
The Linyanti Marsh—a vital water source during the dry season—is a magnet for wildlife and one of the most sought-after destinations in Northern Botswana. It’s particularly renowned for its large elephant herds, especially during the winter months, as well as frequent sightings of lion, leopard, wild dog, buffalo, sable, roan, and the elusive sitatunga and red lechwe.
The camp features just six spacious luxury tented suites, each with en-suite bathrooms and a private deck overlooking the ever-changing wetlands. Elevated communal areas include a cozy lounge, library bar, and dining space, all designed to maximize views and create a welcoming atmosphere. The plunge pool offers a refreshing way to relax while soaking in the tranquility of the Linyanti landscape.
A diverse range of safari activities allows guests to explore the area by day and night game drives, walking safaris, and—when water levels permit—seasonal mokoro excursions. Between April and November, guests can also enjoy a 30-minute scenic helicopter flight, offering a rare aerial perspective of this pristine wilderness.
Birding is exceptional year-round, with a wide variety of wetland and savanna species, making Linyanti Bush Camp ideal for both seasoned birders and nature lovers alike. Whether you're watching elephants gather at the marsh, gliding silently through channels in a mokoro, or soaring above the wetlands by helicopter, Linyanti Bush Camp delivers an unforgettable, authentic safari experience in one of Botswana’s last great wildernesses.
