Gomoti Plains Camp

Gomoti Plains Camp

Framed by towering palm trees, Gomoti Plains Camp offers eco-luxury and comfort in an area that's alive with superb land and water-based game viewing in The Okavango Delta, Botswana

Named after the river it borders, Gomoti Plains Camp is nestled beside one of the Okavango Delta’s smaller floodplains, offering an unforgettable blend of eco-luxury and untamed wilderness. Towering palm trees frame our iconic canvas tents, set against a backdrop of open savannah teeming with wildlife.

The camp lies at the very edge of a vast floodplain, giving each tent front-row views of nearby watering holes - natural gathering points for a diverse array of animals. Designed with both comfort and sustainability in mind, each eco-luxury tent features:

  • An en-suite bedroom with a modern bathroom

  • A private patio deck and shaded relaxation area

  • A romantic outdoor shower for an immersive bush experience

Whether you're reclining in your tent, enjoying sundowners by the fire, or heading out on an adventure, Gomoti Plains offers an authentic and elevated safari experience.

A Safari for All the Senses

From thrilling day and night game drives to untamed walking safaris, our highly trained guides help you connect with the land, its animals, and its rhythms. Depending on the season and water levels, you can also explore the Okavango Delta by mokoro—a traditional dugout canoe—gliding silently across the water as you spot birds, hippos, and other delta dwellers.

Night drives offer an entirely different dimension. As the sun sinks beneath the African horizon, the landscape transforms. With only a red-filter night light to guide you, you'll search for predators on the move, elusive nocturnal creatures like porcupines or aardvarks, and experience the sounds and scents of the bush after dark.

Flavours of the Delta

At Gomoti Plains, food philosophy is grounded in local sourcing and honest flavours. Working with nearby farmers and communities to bring you fresh, seasonal ingredients that reflect the culinary heritage of Botswana and Zimbabwe. Meals are simple, nourishing, and always delicious - designed to complement the sensory richness of your time in the bush.
