Kimana Sanctuary itself is a jewel of conservation: 844 Maasai landowners united to protect this vital wildlife corridor between Amboseli National Park and the greater Tsavo ecosystem. Thanks to a year-round stream, the Sanctuary offers the richest habitat diversity in the region and supports an extraordinary density of wildlife. Alongside elephants, guests may encounter giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, reedbuck, eland, and warthogs in abundance — and with luck, lions, leopards, and a dazzling array of over 400 bird species.
