Sayari Camp
Perfectly positioned to enjoy the Great Migration river crossings, Sayari Camp offers a luxurious base for an exciting safari experience in The Serengeti, Tanzania.
Located in the remote reaches of the northern Serengeti, Sayari Camp offers front-row access to the Great Migration and year-round wildlife in a setting that blends sophistication with wilderness. An award-winning boutique camp, Sayari is the closest permanent base to the Mara River, positioning you perfectly to witness the dramatic river crossings from July to October, when herds of wildebeest and zebra thunder through crocodile-infested waters.
From November to March, when the herds move south, Sayari transforms into a serene, wildlife-rich retreat with exceptional resident game—including black rhino, lion, leopard, and cheetah—and far fewer visitors, making for an exclusive and tranquil safari experience. The short rains turn the landscape into a lush, green paradise, attracting migratory birds and creating stunning photographic opportunities.
The camp features 15 elegant tented suites, each with mahogany floors, king or twin beds, and spacious indoor-outdoor bathrooms that include freestanding bathtubs with sweeping savannah views, walk-in showers, and private outdoor showers. Each suite boasts a wraparound veranda, ideal for watching passing wildlife with a cold drink or book in hand.
In 2023, Sayari introduced two private Retreats, designed for families and small groups seeking the ultimate in privacy and personalized service. With a dedicated chef, private guide, and exclusive safari vehicle, these Retreats elevate the Sayari experience to new heights.
When not on twice-daily game drives or immersive walking safaris, guests can unwind in the rim-flow swimming pool, enjoy a rejuvenating spa treatment, or simply soak in the sweeping beauty of the Serengeti.
Whether witnessing nature's raw power during the migration or enjoying the calm elegance of the green season, Sayari Camp delivers a safari that is both thrilling and deeply restorative.
